A Canadian security forum announces it will award the people of Israel for public service leadership

The Halifax International Security Forum will present an award to the people of Israel in honor of their leadership and resilience following the recent Hamas incursion. The award, named after late US Senator John McCain, is given annually to individuals who have shown exceptional leadership in the pursuit of human justice. Cindy McCain, Senator McCain's wife, will present the award to representatives of Brothers in Arms, a group that provided aid to those affected by the conflict.
