Transcript: Pekin Kicking Camp

Pegler>> high school football players spending their presidents day away from school and at the "illinois offseason kicking camp" in pekin. several former illini kickers and current professional kickers -- such as the rams greg zuerlein -- giving instruction... kickers love these camps because most high schools don't have coaches with a kicking background. <<Filip Filipovic/Kicking Coach: "The guys that have the most success are the ones that not only learn the mechanics today, but also kind of catch the kicking bug, and start looking up videos on YouTube and start contacting other kickers."Ryan Basden/Morton Senior: "They've been through it all, the whole college and professional aspect.

So every little detail you can pick up from these guys, you have to take note or keep it in your mind so later on, if you don't have a coach, you can work on it by yourself."Greg Zuerlein/Rams Kicker: "i really believe in what he's doing and his techniques that he's teaching these kids, so if i can help them learn a little something, as well as learn something myself, i think it's a win-win.">><<Kurt Pegler>> zuerlein says he played soccer growing up, but wishes he had camps like these to work on his kicking game. <<Kurt
