News video: TV Network Hires Former Police Chief as ContributorFormer Dallas, Texas Police Chief David Brown, who was thrust into the national spotlight following a sniper attack that left five law enforcement officers dead in July this year, has reportedly been hired as a contributor for ABC News. According to a news release posted on the network's website Wednesday morning, Brown will start January 1 as a contributor for topics such as economic inequality, race relations, gun violence and social justice. Back on October 4, just a few months after the deadly attack, Brown announced his retirement from the Dallas Police force after 33 years on duty.
