News video: Uber Plans Autonomous Vehicle Research CenterUber is preparing to open an autonomous-vehicle research center by the end of March. Located in Wixom, Michigan, the center will use an existing facility, so Uber won't have to build one from the ground up. They chose Wixom due to its proximity to research universities and other companies in the automotive industry.
