During a speech on Monday, President Trump addressed the issues surrounding Obamacare.
Throughout his campaign, Donald Trump said his thwarting of the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, would be swift, as would replacing it with a better plan.
On Monday, he offered insights into why that pledge has not been realized as quickly as promised.
President Trump told governors gathered at the White House, “Now, I have to tell you, it's an unbelievably complex subject. Nobody knew healthcare could be so complicated."
He prefaced that acknowledgment with the statement, “We have a lot of talent and a lot of expertise here and I will tell you and we have come up with a solution that is really, really, I think, very good.”
The specifics of that plan have yet to be revealed to both the public and insurance providers.
However, on Monday, Trump did tell the latter, “I think it's going to be something special...I think you're going to like what you hear."
