News video: Is Antarctica Turning Green?Climate change is causing moss to grow in Antartica. According to scientists, moss banks that have been found on the coast of the Antartica Peninsula have increased their growth by at least “4 or 5 times.” Dominic Hodgsons, a co-author of the study that discovered this, stated, “If you’d taken a photograph of these parts of the Peninsula 50 years ago it would have been a monochrome shot of ice. Nothing but glaciers. Today that photo would show extensive patches of green.”
