Transcript: UC football set to close season Saturday

((lucas))one play here...one n 3 play there and the utica college football season could have been a special one.but little mistakes kept adding up and those proved to be too much to overcome. time has run out on utica college football.the pioneers dropped another nail biter on the road to officially end their chances of playing in a bowl game.those seasons where you kind of scratch your head but i tell you every week this team they come battle every week and we just gotta look forward and gotta finish this season with a win to go into the offseason so it's been a tough year but this has really been a group i've been proud of for sure."the pioneers will end the year with an oh and five record away from guytano stadium...with four of those losses being decided by seven points or less."road games are tough to win it's hard to go into somebody else's arena and win a game we're a young team but i think we're gonna learn from those experiences and they gonna come back next year better than ever."saturday's game against morrisville state marks the end of a career for 13 pioneers...including for senior defensive back anthony bee-erra anderson."it's kind of a surreal feeling it's weird so weird that i'm at this point now and i remember being a freshman coming here and just thinking like wow i'm never gonna be a senior this is gonna be forever but it feels like it look like a week and i'm already a senior so this last game i'm gonna give it all i got just wanted to thank this organization and utica college."in a season where a lot has gone wrong...the pioneers are hoping to finish strong."this is a big game for our college we want to go 1-0 this week we want to get a win want to get a win for our program get back on the right track and get it started
