It'll be the 50th running of the tony hulman classic.

The race is usually held in may the week leading into the indianapolis 500.

Due to the covid-19 pandemic, the race was pushed to july and will instead serve as a nice lead in for the indy grand prix and the brickyard 400 happening this weekend at the indianapolis motorspeedway.
