Chris Stapleton broke his own record, by taking home Male Vocalist of the Year for the seventh time at the CMA Awards on Wednesday night.
T he Kentucky-born singer shared his advice for following your dreams after the show.
'If you dream of being a musician don't just dream, do,' he said, 'If you have dreams of being in Nashville then you have to come to Nashville...it takes some commitment, and it takes a lot of dedication to a craft and it takes some hard work but also just loving it enough to keep doing it.'
Stapleton also shared what it was like being involved in his 'hero,' Willie Nelson's Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction last week, calling it 'one of my favorite musical moments I maybe ever had.'
