Arizona resident Sheri Spomer joins host Kevin Kline on The Sand Table to discuss her two family members that were killed on December 7, 1941 during the attack on Pearl Harbor.

SK2c Gerald Clayton was considered missing aboard the U.S.S.

Oklahoma for almost 75 years, but was recently identified using DNA technology and brought home.

His cousin COX Robert Roland Clayton was aboard the U.S.S.

Arizona and is still listed as missing.

Sheri discusses her experience during the U.S.S.

Oklahoma Identification Project, and gives interesting insight into the process.

She also discusses the differences between the two projects and her hope that the 85 U.S.S.

Arizona unknowns currently buried in commingled graves 10 miles away from pearl harbor will soon be identified.
