This week will be honored to have two distinguished Cold Case Detectives from the East Palo Alto Police Department.
Both Sgt.
Joseph Klein and Sgt.
Jason Peardon are standouts and have definitely made an impact.
In 2022, this duo achieved a 100% clearance rate, along with 100% of shooting incidents being cleared by arrest.
In 2023, the city received international attention for having zero homicides in a calendar year from the first time since the cities inception in 1983.
