Former German Chancellor Merkel wins UNESCO Peace Prize

For her courageous 'open door' refugee policy in 2015, the former Chancellor will be awarded the Félix Houphouët-Boigny UNESCO Peace Prize in Yamoussoukro. Many Ivorians say Merkel deserves the accolade.
