Parvati idol stolen from Tamil Nadu temple over 50 years ago traced to New York auction house

The Tamil Nadu Police have now commenced the process to retrieve the idol of idol of Goddess Parvati and bring it back to India under the UNESCO`s World Heritage Convention 1972.
