India, Bangladesh vow to strengthen ties in security, connectivity

India and Bangladesh held the India-Bangladesh Foreign Office Consultations to discuss various issues including the Teesta river dispute, trade, regional connectivity, and the Rohingya crisis. They appreciated each other's participation in the virtual G20 summit and the Voice of Global South Summit 2.0. The two sides also discussed people-to-people ties, development cooperation, and bilateral relations. They emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation in areas such as regional power grid connection, consular and cultural issues, and water-related matters. The next Foreign Office Consultations will be hosted in Bangladesh.
