Gaza ceasefire rejection

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected a 15-point Gaza plan put forward by Donald Trump's Board of Peace, saying Israeli forces will not withdraw from Gaza until Hamas is genuinely disarmed. The plan, announced last month, aimed at Hamas giving up its weapons alongside an Israeli withdrawal. Hamas had accepted the US ceasefire proposal, but Netanyahu said at a cabinet meeting that the army would make no withdrawal until Hamas is truly disarmed, effectively scrapping the ceasefire plan. He also vowed to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons regardless of diplomacy with Washington and Arab states.
