Ex neo-Nazi activist quits as Tory candidate to advise on extremism
Joshua Bonehill-Paine, a former neo-Nazi activist jailed in 2015 over antisemitic remarks and convicted of harassing Jewish MP Luciana Berger, has withdrawn as a Conservative candidate for a 2027 Somerset council seat after his selection drew criticism. Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch said Bonehill-Paine will instead advise the party on tackling extremism.
