Salman Rushdie Testifies at Attacker's US Terror Trial

Author Salman Rushdie testified at the federal terrorism trial of Hadi Matar, who was convicted of stabbing him on a New York stage in 2022. Rushdie, left blind in one eye by the attack, described the knife coming within a millimetre of his brain as he gave evidence for a second time about the near-fatal assault.
