USS Abraham Lincoln Leaves Middle East After Nine-Month Deployment

The USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier and its approximately 5,000 crew are returning to San Diego after a roughly nine-month deployment in the Middle East, largely supporting U.S. operations against Iran. The USS George Washington has arrived to relieve the Lincoln, whose families raised concerns about deteriorating living conditions, plumbing problems, low morale and reports of several suicide attempts.
