Indonesian ferry fire off Madura leaves at least five dead and 41 missing

An Indonesian passenger ferry caught fire in waters off Madura island, killing at least five people and leaving 41 others missing, authorities said. The vessel was carrying 271 people, and 225 were rescued, according to Indonesia's National Search and Rescue Agency, Basarnas. Some passengers jumped into the sea to escape the blaze.
