A worker at Germany's Frankfurt airport has died after contracting malaria from a mosquito thought to have arrived on a plane, an airport spokesperson said. Five other airport workers are also receiving treatment following the rare outbreak at Germany's busiest airport.

NPR – Politics Republican Senator Mitch McConnell returned to the US Senate on Monday, casting his first vote after a three-month absence. The 84-year-old Kentucky lawmaker was hospitalised in June following a fall at home and said he was "briefly unconscious" during recovery.
