NYTimes – US Republican Senator Ashley Moody and Democratic State Representative Angie Nixon won their respective primaries and will face each other in Florida's U.S. Senate election in November, according to Associated Press projections. Nixon, a democratic socialist, defeated former army intelligence officer Alexander Vindman for the Democratic nomination. Moody, the Republican incumbent, has President Donald Trump's support.
