President Donald Trump approved a firing-squad execution for former Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, who was sentenced to death for killing 13 people in the 2009 Fort Hood shooting. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth recommended the execution, Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell said.
