NYTimes – US President Donald Trump has appointed Will Scharf, currently the White House staff secretary, to serve as White House counsel and assistant to the president, replacing David Warrington. Scharf, who has overseen the president's paperwork and executive orders, is expected to start on September 1. He also helped secure approval for a $400 million White House ballroom project.
