NYTimes – US President Donald Trump approved the execution by U.S. Army firing squad of former Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, the Pentagon confirmed. Hasan was convicted and sentenced to death in 2013 for killing 13 people in a 2009 shooting at Fort Hood, Texas.
