NYTimes – US A flash flood struck the Grand Canyon’s Bright Angel Canyon and Phantom Ranch area on Saturday afternoon, leaving one 46-year-old man dead and about 15 people missing or unaccounted for, according to the National Park Service. Scores of visitors were evacuated, debris was swept into the Colorado River, and footbridges were destroyed. The area braced for more rain and thunderstorms on Monday.
NPR – Politics President Donald Trump signed an executive order renaming Lake Ontario to "Lake America."
