Harry Kane won the 2026 Ballon d'Or, becoming the first English player to claim the men's award since Michael Owen in 2001. Kane scored 73 goals for club and country last season. Spain's Alexia Putellas won her third women's Ballon d'Or after helping Barcelona win the Champions League, ending teammate Aitana Bonmati's three-year reign.
