Arizona Candidate Assault Report

Arizona congressional candidate Bernadette Greene-Placentia, a Democrat, says she was attacked and raped in August while repairing a damaged campaign sign. She said her memory of the incident is spotty and that she was knocked unconscious. The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said a report was filed on Aug. 31. Greene-Placentia said she is sharing her story to advocate for sexual assault victims.
