Writer and commentator Bonnie Greer dies aged 77

British-American novelist, playwright and cultural commentator Bonnie Greer has died aged 77 after a brief illness, her husband David Hutchins said. Greer was known for her regular appearances on current affairs programmes and will be remembered for her warmth, humour and generosity, Hutchins added.
