Justice Department subpoenas California election workers

The U.S. Justice Department has issued grand jury subpoenas to Los Angeles County election workers, with county officials releasing copies of subpoenas sent to three employees for a Nov. 4 appearance at a federal courthouse. The subpoenas come amid tensions between the Trump administration and California election officials over the state's voter rolls and a probe of noncitizen voting.
