Far-right activist denies criminal damage over Channel dinghy slashing

Far-right activist Daniel Thomas pleaded not guilty to criminal damage after a video appeared to show him slashing a dinghy in the English Channel while an emergency responder was on board. The 37-year-old, also known as Danny Tommo, was refused bail. He also faces a charge of failing to disclose his phone PIN, police said.
