Charli XCX Portrait Joins National Portrait Gallery

A portrait of Charli XCX from her Brat era by photographer Harley Weir has been acquired by the National Portrait Gallery. The gallery described the pop star as "one of the defining cultural figures of her generation." The acquisition came in the same week she was seeking a No. 1 chart position for her new album.
