Cheshire Guinness theft

Thieves stole more than 800 barrels of Guinness—more than 70,000 pints, worth around £115,000—from a depot on an industrial estate in Runcorn, Cheshire. Police said two lorries were driven into the estate and attached to trailers holding the barrels. The theft was reported on 3 September 2026.
