NYTimes – US Ex-CIA Officer Reaches Tentative Plea Deal in Gold-Bar Theft Case
Former CIA officer David J. Rush, accused of stealing more than $40 million in gold bars from the agency and hiding 303 bars in his Virginia basement, has reached a tentative plea agreement with federal prosecutors. Rush was fired after the FBI discovered the gold. The court filing did not specify the charges he could plead to.
