Cornell President Calls Alleged Fraternity Gang Rape 'Deeply Disturbing'

Cornell University President Michael I. Kotlikoff called an alleged 2024 fraternity house gang rape of a student "deeply disturbing" and said the university "must do better." In a video statement, he described the incident as "a defining moment in Cornell's history" and pledged greater transparency while raising concerns about sexual assault, dehumanization, party culture, and alcohol and drug use.
