Cornell fraternity party suspension

Cornell University has suspended fraternity parties until the end of the academic year after a female student alleged she was drugged and gang-raped at a fraternity house in 2024. Cornell's president apologised to the student and promised "meaningful action" to address campus culture. The university has appointed former US Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates to lead a comprehensive independent review of its response to the allegations.
