CrossCountry cancels almost all services after Birmingham power cut

CrossCountry has cancelled almost all of its train services across Great Britain after a power cut in Birmingham hit its control centre on Sunday. Most services are suspended until further notice, including routes from Glasgow. The transport secretary has asked publicly owned operators to lay on extra services where possible.
