Fort Hood Execution Livestream

Pentagon to Livestream Fort Hood Shooter's Firing-Squad Execution

US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth said the US military will livestream the 3 December firing-squad execution of Nidal Hasan, the former Army psychiatrist convicted of killing 13 people at Fort Hood in 2009. It would be the first US military execution by firing squad since World War II and the first US military execution since 1961. Fort Hood survivor Alonzo Lunsford told the BBC the punishment befits the crime but questioned whether the public should watch.
