Fort Hood Shooter Execution

President Donald Trump approved a firing-squad execution for former Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, who was sentenced to death for killing 13 people in the 2009 Fort Hood shooting. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth recommended the execution, Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell said. It will be the first U.S. military execution since 1961 and the first by firing squad since World War II; the date and location are not yet set.
