NYTimes – US Grand Canyon Flash Floods Leave Around 15 Missing
Flash floods struck Bright Angel Canyon and the Phantom Ranch area at the Grand Canyon in Arizona on Saturday afternoon, leaving around 15 people missing, according to the National Park Service. At least 62 people were evacuated after flooding destroyed nearly all footbridges across Bright Angel Creek and cut off hikers' access.
