Grooming gangs inquiry expands to Wales and Birmingham

The independent national inquiry into grooming gangs will carry out local investigations in Wales and Birmingham, it was announced on Wednesday. The statutory inquiry, chaired by former children's commissioner Anne Longfield, is examining child sexual abuse and exploitation and will now look at offending in those areas as part of its wider work.
