Philadelphia Teacher Admits Fabricating Palestinian and Black Identity

Hannah Gann, a Philadelphia high school teacher and activist, admitted she had lied for years about being Palestinian and Black, calling herself "a white woman of significant privilege." Local advocacy groups, including the Racial Justice Organizing Committee, said they cut ties with her after learning she "fully lied about her identity and background."
