Hurricane Polo lashes Mexico's Pacific coast

Hurricane Polo has brought heavy rain and powerful waves to Mexico's Pacific coast. In Acapulco, residents battled huge swells to haul a boat to safety as the storm passed offshore, downgraded from Category 5. In Lazaro Cardenas, residents and military reinforced Playa Azul's seafront against pounding waves after Polo weakened to Category 4.
