India Cockroach leaders release

India 'Cockroach' leaders freed from Tihar Jail

Two leaders of India's Cockroach Janta Party, Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka, were released from Tihar Jail after about a week in custody. They had been accused of entering an unauthorised protest venue in Delhi during demonstrations demanding Election Commission chief Gyanesh Kumar's resignation. Their release followed a pledge not to call for protests at Jantar Mantar.
