Infantino denies UEFA paid off alleged lover

FIFA president Gianni Infantino has strongly denied allegations that UEFA paid a severance package to a female employee alleged to have been his lover while he was the body's general secretary from 2009 to 2016. UEFA confirmed a "departure payment" was made, while Infantino called the claims "categorically untrue."
