Jaguar Land Rover to cut 4,000 UK jobs

Jaguar Land Rover has confirmed plans to cut around 4,000 UK jobs over two years through a voluntary redundancy programme aimed at saving £1.7bn. The carmaker cited falling sales, Chinese competition, US tariffs and the fallout from a major cyber-attack. A UK minister has ruled out a taxpayer bailout and is due to meet JLR leaders and union officials.
