A Michael Jordan jersey from the 1998 NBA finals has sold for $14m (£10.6m), a record for basketball memorabilia. The red jersey was worn in Game 2 of the series on June 5, 1998, when Jordan and the Chicago Bulls beat the Utah Jazz. The sale ranks as the second-largest ever for a game-worn sports jersey.
