Karen Attiah Reinstatement

An independent arbitrator has ordered the Washington Post to reinstate opinion columnist Karen Attiah, who was fired last September over social media posts she made following the killing of Charlie Kirk. The arbitrator ruled the newspaper lacked sufficient cause to terminate Attiah, who was a union-protected employee and the last Black full-time member of the Post's opinion desk.
