BBC News – World Lil Durk Acquitted in Murder-for-Hire Trial
Grammy-winning Chicago rapper Lil Durk, born Durk Banks, has been acquitted by a federal jury in Los Angeles of all charges in a murder-for-hire plot. He was arrested in 2024 and accused of involvement in a 2022 shooting that killed a cousin of rival rapper Quando Rondo. Prosecutors had alleged Durk put a bounty on another rapper in retaliation for a friend's killing.
