Mangione Federal Guilty Plea

Luigi Mangione pleaded guilty in federal court in Manhattan on Friday to charges linked to the 2024 killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. He admitted shooting Thompson and said he knew his actions were illegal. He pleaded guilty to interstate stalking resulting in death and stalking through use of interstate facilities resulting in death, each carrying a possible life sentence.
