Moshiri Blood Cancer Diagnosis

BBC News presenter Maryam Moshiri has revealed she was diagnosed in November 2024 with polycythaemia vera (PV), a rare, incurable but treatable blood cancer. Moshiri said she wanted to share the diagnosis to raise awareness, and described the condition as leaving her feeling like she had her batteries taken out.
